Well here we are again fall in Michigan! The weather has been warm this year in October and I`m getting some more miles on my bike. Snow and cold weather will be coming soon so lets ride while we can. Michigan`s economy seems to be down lately and unemployment is number one in the nation. At least we are number one at something. Remember the less fortunate people this year. Please give to your local charities. There are many worthwhile ones in your area. Toys for Tots is one of my favorites. We have a drop off box at the store and there are also many in various locations thru out the country. Remember to support your local stores this fall. Drive by those big box stores & get off ebay and the internet and buy from your local stores. The small mom and pop stores are disappearing and soon it will be nothing but big company stores. Your local Hardware, grocery , bike shop , etc needs your bussiness. Most are fairly competive in pricing and their service and customer relations are a plus. One last reminder the elections are coming up so don`t forget to vote. A lot of people say their vote doesn`t make a difference but i believe it does. Lets vote and send a message to our officials that we are watching them and if they don`t perform we will elect someone that does the job. If ya don`t vote ya can`t bitch ! Thanks for listening to an old greying biker ! Bubba for President in 2008 ! |

I always try to shop local owned places first. You get better service and the prices are usually the same or very close to it compared to big box or on the internet. I figure the local owners live here too I would rather give them my business than someone in another state or country.
I'd vote for ya Bubba! |
