My topic this month is about supporting our troops.
This weekend Vietnam Vets MC. had a poker run at my place. Turnout was fair and a great time was had by all. Money was raised to fund their various programs and all the good work they do at the Veterans hospital. Thanks for everyone that contributed. Also I would like to personally thank the local Vietnam Vets for all that they do for charity and helping vets out. I also appreciate the money they donated to me for our support troops weekend coming up the weekend after labor Day weekend. Remember to support your VIetnam vets and also all Vets!
September 7-8 is Bubba`s support your troops weekend. Poker runs, giveaways , live music , food, and just a good weekend event to support those who protect our freedoms. Please support us any way you can to raise money for these organizations.
Last of all remember your troops & Vets.
Please stand behind all those that are serving or have served our country . If you won`t stand behind them feel free to stand in front of them in battle.
If you can read this Thank a teacher and since this is in English thank a soldier.

| Bubba, You can count on us to be there. Both Pam and I will be there Sunday for sure. I will bring some t-shirts for give aways. Oh, by the way, Stopped by today and dropped off new Sept issue but you were out. In case we do not see you before hand, Happy Early Birthday guy. Bubba got a quaestion to ask you and any others out there. if you support the troops are you supporting the war ?. Or can you support the troops and not support the war. I am confused. Please people out there give me your interpetation.

| ya can support the troops as just doing their job without supporting the war. these are mosly just a bunch of kids over there doing what they are told. lets not treat them like we did in the vietnam war. |

This past weekend was Essexville/Hampton high school homecoming and they were honoring soldiers from the area and some members from the local unit were in the parade. They got the biggest applause as they were coming down Main Street and also when they were announced at the football game, brought a smile to their faces.
You could tell they appreciated the support. |

| just want to let you know you are all doing a great job supporting our Troops. we lost our son in May 2005 over in Iraq. We support our troops but don't support our president or this war. we know we are not alone in our grief and that is really frickin' sad!!!! bring 'em home!!!!! stand proud America!!!!! GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS-PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE!!!! |
