This a great time of year in michigan if ya like the cold weather. This time of the year we have cold temps,no sun, snow, ice, sleet or what ever else Mother Nature can throw at us. The worst thing is the no bike riding season. It really bothers me not to be on two wheels for more than a day! But me being an old romantic I one of those people that was born here and damn well might as well end it here also. As the saying goes Love it or Leave it.
I sometimes escape this nasty weather to go South to ride my bike for short periods. I just returned from Florida last week and had some great riding. Unfortunately I had to trailer down to Noarthern Florida to find the dry and warm weather. Driving the truck down there was quite an experiance. The traffic was horid and I made some observations. The little red or white car with the female in it seems to ride on everones ass. Not to be outdone we also have the middle aged red neck with the Chevy club cab pickup that thinks he either is driving Nascar or an 18 wheeler. I am amazed that there are so few major accidents out on the Interstates. Also where did all these foreign cars come from.? Americans driving these unAmerican cars just bugs me. After all I am from the state that depends on the American automakers making it.If you want to drive those cars I suggest you enjoy your rice for Dinner.
That should be enough complaining for now to warm me up.
Let me know if you agree with these observations or if ya think I am just getting old and becoming an intolerate, selfcentered, opionated over the hill old biker !

| ya you are getting older Bubba and as far as being that other stuff hell you been like that for years. Thats what we call character .I do agree with your comments on cell phones .Do these people have to talk on the phone all the time ? don`t sound like much fun to me.Now the assholes are text messaging while they are driving ! I have been run off the road, pulled in front of and generally ignored by people in their cars talking on cell phones. Ain`t that something ! |
